About Grand Power
GP Express commenced operations in March 2002, primarily as a freight-forwarding services provider. Within 6 years, Grand Power has quickly become a leading logistic services provider including comprehensive airfreight and ocean freight services, rail and land transportation, customs brokerage, warehouse and distribution, and global freight management services. Grand Power now has over 12 offices worldwide with a total of over 200 employees. Our rapid expansion has been lead by our senior management team which has an aggregate of over 100 years of experience in logistics. Strong relationships with our service providers are another key factor in our success. Grand Power is currently the "appointed cargo agent" for over 40 carriers and liners worldwide. With a global network of over 100 agents, Grand Power is member in good standing of a number of industry associations including FIATA, IATA, CGLN, NVOCC (Non-vessel Operating Commons Carriers) & HAFFA.
Grand Power began to accelerate its growth strategy in Greater China in 2007 with the receipt of a 1 st class logistics license (CATA, China Civil Air Transport Agent) in China and the establishment of 7 registered offices in the major cities of China. Over the next three years, we plan to open 50 additional offices to service 100 cities in China.
To support the rapid expansion of Grand Power and build a solid commercial foundation, we have invested in our back office systems and processes. In 2008 we successfully implemented a new accounting and operations system and installed it in all of our branches. This has increased our efficiency significantly and elevated our service capability.
